GUITAR HERO 5 XBOX TESTED CHEAT CODES

1) Go to OPTIONS then to INPUT CHEATS, then enter one of the following cheat code.
2) Press the indicated notes without drumming.
3) At the end a message says the corresponding cheat mode is unlocked.
4) Press Start to validate.
5) Note: you can combine most of cheat modes. You can also toggle off all cheats (except the new characters).
6) New: in GH5 some cheats are already avalaible at the band lobby option menu!! At the Cheats menu: Free Drum mode and No Fail mode. and at the Extras menu: HyperSpeed mode.

CHARACTERS

Unlock Contest Winner 1

1) Press: Green, Green, Red, Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Blue.
2) The message 'CONTEST WINNER1 UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'select your rocker' menu and at the 'band lobby' menu, the following new character is unlocked: 'Gerald Contest Winner'.
5) Note: Gerald is a guy who won a contest.

Unlock All Characters

1) Press: Blue, Blue, Green, Green, Red, Green, Red, Yellow.
2) The message 'ALL CHARACTERS UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'select your rocker' menu, and at the 'band lobby' menu, the following new GH5 characters are unlocked:

CHEATS

Unlock All HOPOs

1) Press: Green, Green, Blue, Green, Green, Green, Yellow, Green.
2) The message 'ALL HOPOs UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive with the Guitar or the Bass.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Cheats, and enable 'All HOPOs'.
5) The following message displays: 'Cheats are not supported for leaderboard posting and online play'.
6) Note: the HO/POs (Hammer Ons/Pulls Offs) notes are the ones which shine.

Unlock Always Slide

1) Press: Green, Green, Red, Red, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue.
2) The message 'ALWAYS SLIDE UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Cheats, and enable 'Always Slide'.
5) The following message displays: 'Cheats are not supported for leaderboard posting and online play'.
6) Note: when you are in 'Always Slide', you can play without drumming.

Unlock Auto Kick Mode

1) Press: Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue, Red.
2) The message 'AUTO KICK UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive with the Drum Kit.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Cheats, and enable 'Auto Kick'.
5) The following message displays: 'Cheats are not supported for leaderboard posting and online play'.
6) Note: when you are in 'Auto Kick Mode', the bass pedal is in auto-mode.

'EXTRAS'

Unlock Focus Mode

1) Press: Yellow, Green, Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Green, Green.
2) The message 'FOCUS MODE UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Extras, and enable 'Focus Mode'.
5) Note: when you are in this special Guitar Hero 5 mode, there is no band, no audience, no background...
6) Note: There is only the fretboard and the meters. So, you are focused on the notes you play...

Unlock HUD Free Mode

1) Press: Green, Red, Green, Green, Yellow, Green, Green, Green.
2) The message 'HUD FREE MODE UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Extras, and enable 'HUD Free Mode'.
5) Note: when you are in this special Guitar Hero 5 mode, all meters disapear: Rock Meter, Star Power Meter, Stars Earned Meter, Multiplier Meter.

Unlock Invisible RockerS

1) Press: Green, Red, Yellow, Yellow, Yelow, Blue, Blue, Green.
2) The message 'INVISIBLE ROCKER UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Extras, and enable 'Invisible Rockers'.
5) Note: so, invisible rocker or invisible rocker(S)? Invisible rockers: the whole band is invisible in GH5 too...

Unlock Air Instruments

1) Press: Red, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Green, Green, Yellow.
2) The message 'AIR INSTRUMENTS UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the 'band lobby' menus, go to the Options then to the Extras, and enable 'Air Instruments'.
5) Note: in Guitar Hero 5 you can combine the Invisible Rocher(s) and the Air Instruments cheat modes...

Unlock Performance Mode

1) Press: Yellow, Yellow, Blue, Red, Blue, Green, Red, Red.
2) The message 'PERFORMANCE MODE UNLOCKED!!!' displays.
3) Start a Carreer, a Quickplay or a Competitive.
4) At the "band lobby" menus, go to the Options then to the Extras, and enable 'Performance'.
5) Note: when you are in 'Performance Mode', you don't see any more the fretboard, the notes, the meters... you play as a real rocker!
6) Note: in Guitar Hero 5 you can toggle Performance Mode + Hud Free Mode. So, the whole screen if totally black! And black is black...

EASTER EGG

Unlock Absolutely Nothing
