CHEAT CODE

Special Missions (code + first missions*)

* revealed in a preview showing by TestedCheats.com on 10/23/09

1) From the main menu, go to the Additional Content.
2) Now, go to the Promotional Content.
3) Enter the password: 6aPHuswe
4) The message "You have successfully unlocked the missions." displays.
5) Start or continue a Story.
6) Pause the game and display the Map Legend menu: there is now a new Legend: the Special Mission legend (an envelope).
7) After the tutorial (if you hadn't finished it) and few missions, you receive a phone call by a distorted voice.
8) The misterious man send you on your "predecessor's tracks". Reach the location point indicated by the Special Mission icon (note: on the southeast). 
9) On the place there is a rusty bus converted into a shack. Beware of the mercenaries!
10) On this place you will find:
> A cool dune buggy.
> On a table: the Special Mission letter and a free flare pistol (note: only if you have unlocked the Special Missions).
> At the bus door: the "Smuggling" Jackal Tape.
> On the bus roof: a briefcase with a diamond.

11) Once you take the envelope, a new icon appears on the map (a white circle). This is the location of the first predecessor's informant!
12) If the icon appears on the Northeast of the map,as for us, it's "The Moroccan" Special Mission. Go to this place, to the shooting gallery behind the Fort (tip: you are not obliged to fight with the mercenaries in the fort, only those in the shooting gallery).



13) Inside the shooting gallery, you find a dead man near a tape player. He was the Moroccan...Take the tape.
14) Pause the game, go to the "Predecessor Tapes" and listen to "The Moroccan" tape. First Special Mission completed!



15) Complete few other missions. An envelope appears again at the same "bus shack". Once you take the new envelope, the white circle icon appears at another location. This is the location of the second predecessor's informant.
16) If it's at PetroSahel factory to the Northwest, as for us, it's "The Georgian" Special Mission.



17) A the factory, go into the opened container near a wagon (beware of the mercenaries!). You find there a dead man near a tape player. He was the Georgian...Take the tape.
18) Pause the game, go to the "Predecessor Tapes" and listen to "The Georgian" tape. Second Special Mission completed!

19) Complete few other missions. An envelope appears again at the "bus shack". Once you take the new envelope, the white circle icon appears at another location. This is the location of the second predecessor's informant.
20) If it's at the airfield to the Southeast, as for us, it's "The Bolivian" Special Mission.



21) Go into the main aircraft hangar (beware of the mercenaries!). You find there a dead man near a tape player. He was the Bolivian...Take the tape.
22) Pause the game, go to the "Predecessor Tapes" and listen to "The Bolivian" tape. Third Special Mission completed!

TIPS AND TRICKS

Golden Machine Gun

1) Continue your way to the North after the Special Mission location (see above).
2) Drive alongside the little mountain you see on the map until you find a little shack.
3) You find in the shack a briefcase with diamond, ammo and a golden machine gun!
4) Tip: contrary to the other weapons that you pick up, the golden manchine gun doesn't jam...

Hang-glider location

1) Go to a Safehouse located to the Northwest, on the hillside of a little mountain between PetroSahel, Castle Xing and North Railyard (look at the map on the video).
2) According to the missions you made, you can find a hang-glider here...
3) Let's fly!

EXCLUSIVE CONTENT

 Extra machetes

1) Select a profile then connect to Xbox LIVE.
2) Start Far Cry 2.
3) From the main menu, go to the Additional Content.
4) Now, go to the Exclusive Content.
5) Login with your Ubisoft account or create a new account.
6) The game connecting then to the server.
7) Once the game is connected, the following message displays: "ACCOUNT LINKING COMPLETE! Thank you for linking your Ubisoft account to your Xbox LIVE Gamertag. Special Machete. Unlock Special Machete".
8) Press A button. The following message displays: "The exclusive content was successfully unlocked".
9) Press A button again. the Ubisoft logo then Far Cry 2 main menu display, followed by the message "New content is available in the game option menu".
10) From the main menu, go to the Options then to the Game option.
11) Scroll down to the new option: Machete Type. In addition to the Modern machete, here is now two new fun machetes: Homemade and Primitive!
12) Note: The extra machetes are only available for the corresponding profile.
