3) When the code entry is correct, a message informs you (generally), that the code is activated.
4) The codes can combine (often, but not always).

GREAT MULTIPLAYER CODE!The code
1) This code must be entered during a game in story mode.
2) Press: Up, Up, Up, Triangle, Triangle, Circle, L, R.
3) Go then to the Multiplayer mode. All the elements below are unlocked:
Unlocked characters
1) In the various characters menus, you find 51 new characters (among the others)!
2) The funniest ones are: Cocks (a guy disguised as a chicken), GI Jones, a big guy disguised as a baby, a bondage fan, 13th ("Jason"), The King ("Elvis"), Dragon (Toni wearing the famous Bruce Lee's yellow outfit), etc.
3) Tip: these characters are only available for the player who entered the code.
Unlocked gangs
1) In the Liberty City Survivor script, select the gangs war as a game mode.
2) Seven new gangs are available: Triads, Diablos, Yardies, Yakuzas, Sicilians, Colombians and Hoods.
3) Tip: these gangs are available for the two players.
Unlocked vehicles
1) Go to the the vehicles line of the Street Rage script.
2) 42 new vehicles are unlocked. They are mixed to the others. Among these, there are: the small van with bulletins, the pizza motorcycle, Mr Whoople (ice cream dealer), Manchez (motorbike), etc.
3) Tip: vehicles are available for the two players.
Unlocked districts
1) Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale districts are unlocked.
2) You can now play in these two districts.
3) Obviously, the code has no effect if you already unlocked these districts in a story mode game...
MISCELLANEOUS CHEATSUpside down
1) Press: Cross, Cross, Cross, Down, Down, Right, L, R.
2) You play upside down, and some commands are inverted (Cross to enter a vehicle instead of Triangle).
3) Press Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Up, Up, Right, L, R to cancel the code.
Big Heads mode
1) Press: Down, Down, Down, Circle, Circle, Cross, L, R.
2) Everybody is big headed.
3) Big heads sometimes rise trough cars roofs!
Commit suicide
1) Press: L, Down, Left, R, Cross, Circle, Up, Triangle.
2) The hero dies immediately.
3) ''Wasted!'' displays.
Credits
1) Press: L, R, L, R, Up, Down, L, R.
2) The credits start displaying after a while. These credits are among the longest in video games history!
3) Press on Cross to accelerate the credits.
Bodyguards!
1) Press: Down, Down, Down, Triangle, Triangle, Circle, L, R.
2) With this code, when you meet civilians, they follow you everywhere. They even try to get in your vehicles!
3) But they do not attack you. On the contrary, they defend you against your aggressors (mafia, police...)!
Armed pedestrians
1) Press: R, R, L, R, R, L, Right, Circle.
2) The pedestrians can use their weapons.
3) But in case of self-defence only.
Pedestrians attack you
1) Press: L, L, R, L, L, R, Up, Triangle.
2) All the pedestrians aroud you persecute you and attack you.
3) They are more dangerous when you equip them with the Armed Pedestrians code!
The pedestrians are fighting
1) Press: L, L, R, L, L, R, Left, Square.
2) Everybody fight against anybody.
3) Combine this code with the Armed Pedestrians code for more fun!
