MISSION BRIEFING ITEMS 

> There is interesting items in the plane during the mission brieffing between the first and the second acts.
> Press Square to control the Metal Gear Mk. II robot, then move on items to pick up them.

1) As soon as you take the control, move in front of you (behind the desk). You find the Camera.
2) On the left of the helicopter, you find a battery pack. This one extends the battery life of the Metal Gear Mk. II and the Solid Eye!
3) Go upstairs. You find here noodles, ammos, and an iPod music.
4) You can even switch on the radio by pressing R1 (and change radio station by pressing R1 also).

BOSS: LAUGHING OCTOPUS/LAUGHING BEAUTY

tips

> This boss hides and transforms in order to lay traps. You will find below the various step of her mimics.
> The most powerfull weapon to beat Laughing Octopus is the RPG-7. Take a dozen rockets! Shoot when she is disguised and when she attacks you.
> When Laughing Octopus rolls to hit you, climb onto a box (for example), or shoot her.
> To avoid her small homing-missiles, cross the laboratory in diagonal. If a missile catches you, roll to remove it!

Mimics

1) Laughing Octopus hides in the corridor behind a beam, while being invisible.
2) The "octopus" hides from the ceiling (while being invisible), either in the corridor, or in the middle of the laboratory.
3) Laughing Octopus transforms: in a piece of the medical scanner, or in cardboard containing its suit (in the lumer room), or in a second medical dummy. Or she merges with the woman on the picture hung on the corridor, or she hides again behind a beam!
4) Laughing Octopus uses one of the mimics of the third step that she hasn't already used.
5) The boss transforms as the Metal Gear Mk.II robot, so that you followed her and walked on mines!
6) Laughing Octopus is transformed into a dead enemy soldier, lying on the ground in a room.
7) While she is hurted during one of your duels, Laughing Octopus transforms in Naomi. Don't be naive and finish her!
8) After a movie, Laughing Octopus loses its tentacles and becomes Laughing Beauty.

Fight Laughing Beauty

> Laughing Beauty tries to kiss you in order to empty your vital energy.
> If she catches you, shake the joystick to escape!
> Instead of killing Laughing Beauty, beat her by decreasing her psychological gauge! For that purpose, shoot her with your Mk.2 Pistol Anesthetic.
> At the next level, open the Camouflage menu then the Face menu. You find the FaceCamo. As well the FaceCamo Laughing Beauty, if you’ve beaten the boss but didn’t kill her...

Have sex with Laughing Beauty!

> Lie down on a bed.
> Laughing Beauty comes to ride on you!
> You have to shake the joystick from left to right to stop her from pumping your vital energy.
> It's in fact an Easter Egg, a Hot Coffee Mode, to simulate the sex act...

Laughing Beauty photoshoot!

> Three minutes after the beginning of the fight with Laughing Beauty, you are " teleported" in a sort of dream during three other minutes (if you didn't eliminate her, of course).
> Take photos with your camera and Laughing Beauty strikes a pose!
> Tip: reminber that you have three minutes to takes photos and/or to decreasing her psychological gauge (if you want to get the FaceComo Laughing Beauty)...

 Laughing Beauty dances and sings!

1) In the white dimension place, select you Ipod and play the ''Oishii Two-han Seikatsu'' song.
2) During the chorus, Laughing Beauty dances and sings!
3) Put the Pause: You see that Sunny dances during all the song...

SIGNS

1) At the end of the "South America: Mountain Trail" level, (just before " South America: Mountain Trail Riverside "), you have to cross a river.
2) Before crossing this river, follow at first the footprints which go to the left.
3) You arrive in a crop circle! Then you hear strange noises, then the voice of a man who tells his abduction by aliens....

HANDPRINTS AND HAND CAMO!

1) In "South America: Mountain Trail Riverside", after you crossed the river, you arrive in a clearing with a tree in the middle.
2) Continue on the middle way. Cross under a stone arc, and arrive in another clearing. There, a soldier put a mine near a tree stump.
3) Switch your Solid Snake Eye on Night Vision Mode. You see then handprints on the ground which go to the left! Follow these.
4) You arrive in a circular dead-end. On the ground there are metal sheets with deep hand shapes, as on the Hall of Fame at Hollywood Boulevard!
5) Lie down on the sheets and activate your OctoComo to get the Hand Camo. You can even register this Camo Pattern.
