Perfect "Brann Spankin’ New" achievement in Halls of Stone (HC)

> If you don’t bring the right group in the Halls of Stone, Brann’s event can be pretty tricky, even in normal mode with unstuff character.

> So if you want to make sure to win this challenge in heroic difficulty and win the special Achievement, bring two or three good AE character (Frost Mage are perfect for this role) and if you can choose your tank: don’t hesitate to take a prot paladin (who can be pretty useful even on the last boss achievement too).

> Once your party is ready, go into the instance, clear your way to Brann and start the event: The goal is to defeat the Tribunal of Ages without allowing Brann to take any damage.

> The principle of the event is simple: you’ll have to resist tons of pack of dwarfs  during  at least 4.30 minutes (from the first pack apparition). At the beginning of the event,  3 packs of 3 dwarves will come from the left side of the doorway , soon after packs of 2 casters dwarves will come from the right side in addition to the left pack. Each time you have to tank them all, as soon as they arrived,  in the middle of the stairs, and unleash your AE. If you have non AE character in the group let them focus on the casters.

> For the second part of the event, golem come into the battle and a special static laser is fired from the heads on the walls. Same strategy: try to tank them all in the middle of the stairs, but move as soon as a laser hits you.

> If you bringed enough AE class and a good tank, this achievment is easily cleared. If you don’t, make a better group next time and try to handle the wave during 4.30 minutes. You can win the event even if you’re all dead.

Perfect the Skadi's Achievements in Utgarde Pinnacle (HC)

> There’s two specific achievements that can be done while fighting  Skadi The Ruthless, the third boss of Utgarde Pinnacle.
1) "Lodi Dodi We Loves the Skadi": where you have to defeat Skadi within 3 minutes before starting the event.
2) "My Girl loves to Skadi all the time": where you have to defeat Skadi after having killed Grauf (from 100% to dead) in a single pass.
> These two achievements can be made together and are pretty simple if you’re well prepared.

Optimize your party

> First of all you’ll need at least one good AE class in your party. If you can choose your tank, choose a protection paladin for his AE damage and his Hand of Freedom spell, but you can also take another tank and a paladin for healing. With this Holy Paladin you’ll have  the Hand of freedom spell which  is really useful for the first part of this fight. For the next two DPS class there’s no priority if your AE class do his job.

Collect 5 harpoons and reset

> To complete the two achievements together, make a free run to collect 5 harpoons then come back to the previous room to restart the event. This run is a good excercise for your tank and your party: The tank will have to speed  to the end of the corridor and AE taunt all the mob in the area. The four other players dont do anything while the tank is running and before the AE taunt is launched (you cant afford to take aggro and slip your pack). Remember that the first pack of warriors that your tank will face is going to lower his speed, to counter that use your Hand of freedom spell just before the tank reach the first group, not to pull aggro.

> Once the mobs are in pack: clean with AE, and if you’re non AE DPS focus on mobs that will come on your AE DPS or healer. Kill the harpooners. Take 5 harpoons then go back to the previous room to reset the fight. Split your 5 harpoons to your two DPS: tank, AE class and heal don’t throw any harpoons to Grauf. Let this part of the fight to your others DPS.

The winning run

> The next run will be the winning one. So be prepared. As for the exercise run, go through the corridor, Hand of freedom your tank, AE taunt, AE DPS and focus roamers on your healer.

> Be very careful about the position of Grauf in the air when he starts casting his breath  to avoid the dragon breath zone. You’ll have to stand in the left or in the right part of the corridor, it depends of his starting position. Continue to clean the remaining adds.

> Grauf will come back soon, it’s time to use Harpoons. To use them, click on the mechanics when he’s in range. Your two DPS will have to use two or three differents mechanics to throw their respectives harpoons. Once the 4 harpoons are thrown. Grauf is killed and Skadi will join the battle. Taunt him as soon as possible !

Skaldi

> Focus on remaining adds, then focus on boss. Remember that Skaldi hits pretty hard and that he’s doing whirling blows that everyone (inclunding the tank) have to avoid. Don’t stay at the end of the corridor, come back in the alley to have space to avoid that special. Unleash your DPS and enjoy your achievements.

How to easily defeat Loken in Halls of Lighting (HC)

> Loken is certainly one of the most difficult heroic fight with unpreparred party. At least two or three runs will be necessary to fully understand the timing.

> The first thing you have to understand is that this fight can be cleared with green geared player. This fight is a all about timing and movement. You have to be reactive and move within one or two seconds or die.

> There’s no specific group to gather to win this challenge but a Holy Priest is very handy for his AE heals and  melee class are more interesting than casters.

Loken abilities

1) Lighting Aura: Periodically deals 2k to 3k Nature damage to players outside 20 yards radius
2) Arc Lightining: Shocks the target, instantly dealing 3k to 4k nature damage and the target as a chance to shock nearby friend.
3) Lightning Nova (4 seconds cast): Loken emit a pulse of energy that deals 10k to 12k Nature damage to enemies within 20 yards.

Pack, move together, rush back!

> To simply win this fight, all party pack on the tank to avoid the lightning aura. Yes, you’ll deal friendly fire with Arc Lighting but it’s less damaging than the Lighting Aura.

> Every  10 or 15 seconds Loken will cast his Lighting Nova. At the second he casts this nova run together in the same direction (down the hallway), and as soon as the nova is finished rush back the boss and stick to your pack position. When you try to avoid the Nova don’t go to far from the boss or you’ll take damage from Lightning Aura.

> Repeat that back and forth movement 3 or 4 times and Loken will be down.

Complete the timely death Achievement

> This achievement is simply a question of DPS, and it’s not that hard. The first time we killed Loken with a blue or green geared party,  we had the achievement. If you didn’t manage to accomplish this, come with a better geared party next time.

Defeat the Infinite Corruptor in the Culling of Stratholme (HC)

> Every kind of party or class can handle this Achievement, but if you’re not very sure of the skill/stuff of your pickup companions then choose specific classes: Prot paladin is a must have for tanking, Resto Druid is very interesting for healing (battle rez and good regen), Elem or Enhance Shammy for bloodlust/heroism,  and 2 AE DPS classes to complete your party.

> The goal is to arrive at the end of the "zombies corridor" after the third boss, with at least 2 or 3 minutes left on the 25 minutes countdown.

> The 25 minutes counter will begin at the spawning of the first pack in the beginning area. Notice that the corridor behind this first pack is a safe zone. You can regen safely here and it will be a good "wainting point" when you’ll have kill the first boss. Tell your Shammy to blow his bloodlust/heroism on the first and thrid boss of the instance or in the second and fourth, as you prefer. Once a pack is clean run to the next according to your minimap references. Cleaning these 10 packs (containing 2 bosses) is pretty easy, and if you’re lucky with the spawns of the waves and have a good DPS it can be handle in less than 6 minutes. Once the second boss is down, run to the town hall immediatly and talk to Arthas as soon as he arrives.

> The town hall part is pretty easy too. Only four packs of infinite dragonblight mobs. IF you have non AE DPS classes let them focus on caster mobs. Kill the third boss, talk to Arthas as soon as it pops then run to the secret tunnel. Don’t stop at the end of the tunnel, let one guy wait and talk to Arthas while your four others companions are already cleaning the zombies corridor.

> The zombies corridor is a great challenge for everyone. Your tank must fight at least 3 or 4 elites simultaneously. Don’t stop unless you’re low on mana or if you have time. Don’t stop in the safe zone, run as soon as everyone is ok with mana. Once you’re at the end of the corrdir don’t go to Mal’Ganis. Run left to find the infinite corruptor. It’s really an easy tanking/healing fight. Blow your DPS and loot your amber drake. Note that this drake is a 100% loot. If you don’t have it this time, you’ll have it tomorrow ; )

> You’ll notice on the video that we start from Mal’Ganis to go to the infinite Corruptor. We have done this only because we had plenty of time. If you’re short on time, run to Infinite Corruptor BEFORE Mal’Ganis.

Defeat Trollgore in Drak’Tharon (HC) before Consume reaches 10 stacks

> This Achievement is not one of the hardest but as we needed different try to fully understand the mechanism of the Consume, we decided to share the strategy with you.

> The Consume of Trollgore is cast every 10 or 15 seconds (consider 10) and the debuff increases is based on how many NPC (like trolls adds) or players that are in line of sight (LOS).

> So the strategy is simple: Tank Trollgore in a pocket near the stairs. Your heal have to stand in line of sight of your tank but not of the boss. 1 AE DPS focus on adds that will pop every 30-40 sec at the top of the stairs. The two other DPS are focused on the boss and have to be very careful of the consume debuff. First stay on the stairs and as soon as a new debuff is cast on the tank run in LOS and unleash your DPS for 10 sec (not more!) then go hide on the stairs, waiting for an other debuff to be applied on the tank.

Defeat Ley-Guardian Eregos in the Occulus (HC)

> Eregos himself is not as hard as it seems. A good party aware of the abilities of their respectives drake will have no problem to beat him down. Before trying the Ruby/Emerald/Amber Void Achievement you have to make different daily run to perfectly handle the different kind of drake.

> To easily beat Ergos the best way is to choose two Amber Drake (DPS), two Ruby Drake (tank) and one Emerald drake (healer). You can of course use 3 DPS, one tank, one healer. Or two DPS, one tank, and two healers. But two tanks are really handy for mitigate tons of damage and clean whelps easily. Well played this is certainly the most safest combo.

> The fight is pretty simple an the secret lies in the good coordination of the different drakes : remember to stop time when he enrages (amber stuff), to rapidly clean the whelps when they spawns (ruby stuff), to heal the right guy (emerald stuff) and to move far from the boss (and in the same direction of your friends) when Eregos dephases and everything is going to be ok.

> Don’t forget that you can buff the drakes. The best buff is Improved Blessing of Kings. Up by 10% the drake’s stats is pretty crazy. Remember this little tips when you’ll try the void Achievements.

Amber Drake role and abilities

> The Amber drake are really interesting for their burst and for their stop time Ability. With two Amber drake use your stop time only when Eregos casts his enrage Assault, like this you will avoid the most impressive part of his DPS. Of course make sure you don’t use your two stop time at the same time.

> With two ambers drake you can do incredible amount of damage in ridiculous amount of time if the two ambers are coordinates. Read well the Temporal Rift and shock Lance abilities. If you alternate Shocking and Channeling between your two Amber drakes you’ll easily have your 10 shock charges every two seconds (plus you have to consider that damage from the ruby drakes will up the channeling guy charges too!).

1) Shock Lance. Instant. Deals 4822 to 5602 Arcane Damage and detonates all Shocks Charges on an ennemy dragon. Damage is incresead by 6625 for each detonated.
2) Stop Time. Instant. 1 min cooldown. Halts the passage of time, freezing all enemy dragons in place for 10 sec. This attack applies 5 shock Charges to each affected target.
3) Temporal Rift. Channeled. Channels a temporal rift on an ennemy dragon for 10 sec. While trapped in the rift, all damage done to the target is increased by 100%. In addition, for every 15,000 damage done to a target affected by temporal rift, 1 Shock Charges is generated.

Ruby Drake role and abilities

> These two drakes are really important for their abilities to rapidly clean all the whelps and to absorbs tons of damage that the tanks drake will take.

> Your first priority then is to cast  Martyr everytime it’s up. Next you’ll need to gain evasive charge to lessen the damage you will absorbs with your martyr. Use Evasive Aura/maneuvers while the whelps spawn (or when the boss use Enrage Assault, but with two amber drakes these enrage will be stopped most of the time).

> Of course use Searing Wrath everytime you can (to up the Shock Charges of the channeling Amber Drake) and use it like a crazy like a crazy when whelps spawns. Its YOUR job to clean them as fast as you can.

1) Searing Wrath. Instant. Breathes a stream of fire at an ennemy dragon, dealing 6800 to 9200 Fire damage and then jumping to additionnals dragons within 30 yards. Each Jump increases the damage by 50%.
2) Evasive Aura. Instant. Allows the Ruby Drake to to generate evasive charge when hit by hostiles attacks and spells.
3) Evasive maneuvers . Instant. Allows your drake to dodge all incoming attacks and spells. Each attack or spell dodged while this ability is active burns one Evasive Charge. Lasts 30 seconds or until all charges are exhausted.
4) Martyr. Instant. Redirect harmful spells cast at friendly drakes to yourself for 10 sec.

Emeral Drake role and abilities

> First of all make sure that the guy in charge of the Emerald drake is aware that the drake he is going to heal are considering like pets in his interface. With this in mind make all the necessary interfaces change before pulling.

> The emerald drake healing is pretty tricky considering that you’ll transfers or loose life to heal or to reduce damage. So when you starts the fight begin with 3 stacks of leeching poison and maintain  them during all the fight. Once your 3 stacks are up, use your Touch of nightmare  (to reduce the damage the boss deals by 25%) and start the healing. Remember that you don’t have to channel your dream Funnel to the end to fully heal someone. Remember keep your 3 leeching poison stacks all the time.

1) Leeching Poison. Instant. Poisons an ennemy dragon, leeching 1300 health to the caster every 2 seconds for 12 seconds stacking up to 3 times.
2) Touch of Nightmares. Instant. Consumes 30% of the caster's max health inflicting 25,000 nature damage to an ennemy dragon and reduce the damage it deals by 25% for 30 seconds.
3) Dream Funnel. Channeled. Transfers 5% of the caster’s max health to a friendly drake every second for 10 sec as long as the caster channels.
