BIOSHOCK 2 PC CHEAT CODES

> Note: tested on Bioshock 2 version 1.0.

Allow Hidden Files

1) In Windows Vista/Seven select: Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options > View > Hidden files and folders > Show hidden files and folders.
1') In Windows XP select: Start/Control Panel/Appearance and Themes/Folder Options/View/Hidden files and folders/Show hidden files and folders.
2) In Windows Vista/Seven enter the following folders: C: > Users > (your user name) > AppData (which is now shown...) > Roaming > Bioshock2
2') In Windows XP enter the following folders: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data (which is now shown...)\Bioshock2\

Game File Edition

1) In the corresponding Bioshock 2 folders above, click on the User.ini file (not on the "User_Your user name.ini" file!) to open it with a text editor such as NotePad. Note: make a backup copy of the file before to mod it.
2) Search not binded keys in the file, then add a Bioshock 2 cheat code on the corresponding line.
3) Note: you can't choose any unbinded key. Many don't work. We give you below examples with keys which really work! Note: you can input all cheat codes in the file at the same time.
4) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.

Get 600 Dollars

1) Find the F9= line (for example) in the User.ini file , then stick the following cheat code: igbigbucks
2) So, the line is now like this: F9=igbigbucks
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press F9 key. The following message displays: "Waller Filled To Full. Collected Dollars (600)", and your dollars meter fills up to 600.
5) Note: if your Dollars Meter is full ($600), you can't get more dollars. If you press again the cheat mode key the following message displays: "Waller Already Full". But you can full your Dollars Meter by pressing the cheat mode key when you have less than $600...
6) Note: if you pause the game, you can also see that your Dollars Meter is full in the bottom left corner.
7) Warning: the cheat mode may be disabled when a new area loads or when playing intermission sequence.

Refill EVE Gauge

1) Find the F10= line (for example) in the User.ini file , then stick the following cheat code: givebioammo
2) So, the line is now like this: F10=givebioammo
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press F10 key. No message displays, but your EVE Gauge refills.
5) Note: you can refill your EVE Gauge at will.
6) Warning: the cheat mode may be disabled when a new area loads or when playing intermission sequence.

God Mode

1) Find the G= line (for example) in the User.ini file , then stick the following cheat code: god
2) So, the line is now like this: G=god
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press g key when you need to be invincible. No message displays, but are now really a god: your life gauge don't decrease anymore!
5) Note: press g key again to disable the God Mode.
6) Warning: the God Mode may be disabled when a new area loads or when playing intermission sequence.

New Cheat Codes

Fly Mode

1) Find the U= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: fly
2) So, the line is now like this: U=fly
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press u key. You can now fly but no pass through walls.
5) Tip: press u key again to disable the Fly Mode...

Ghost Mode

1) Find the S= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: ghost
2) So, the line is now like this: S=ghost
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press s key. You can now fly and pass through walls.
5) Warning: don't try to pass through grounds, or the graphic may glitch! It can also glitch at any time...
6) Tip: press u key (in fact the Fly Mode key....) to disable the Ghost Mode!

Teleport Mode

1) Find the T= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: teleport
2) So, the line is now like this: T=teleport
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press t key: you are teleported to where you are aiming at.
5) Tip: press t key again to disable the Teleport Mode...

Get how many ADAM you want

1) Find the Y= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: giveitem???? shockgame.adam
2) So, the line is now like this for example: Y=giveitem 999 shockgame.adam
3) Note: you can set up to 9999 ADAM if you want!
4) The following message displays: "Collected ADAM (999)". And you see the ADAM meter fills.
5) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
6) Ingame press y key to get your ADAM.

Set the game speed (faster)

1) Find the W= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: slomo followed by a space then a number between 1.1 and 9.9
2) So, the line is now like, this for example: W=slomo 5.3
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press w key to go faster!
5) Tip: to return to the normal speed, you must bind a key for that (see below), and press this corresponding key.

Set the game speed (slower)

1) Find the X= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: slomo followed by a space then a number between 0.1 and 0.9
2) So, the line is now like, this for example: X=slomo 0.2
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press x key to go slower.
5) Tip: to return to the normal speed, you must bind a key for that (see below), and press this corresponding key.

Set the game speed (default)

1) Find the V= line (for example) in the User.ini file, then stick the following cheat code: slomo followed by a space then the number 1.0
2) So, the line is now like thisle: V=slomo 1.0
3) Save the file then launch Bioshock 2.
4) Ingame press v key to back to the default speed.
