Unlock 'The Animal Lover's House' puzzles
1) Select Layton's suitcase then the Hamster. 2) Watch the video and put the same objets in the same slots. 3) Train the hamster. 4) Now, the hamster will help you to find the S.O.S. coins! 5) As the hamster walked over 30 feet, the 'The Animal lover's House' puzzles are unlocked! 6) From the main menu go to the Extras, load your latest file, select the 'Layton's Challenges', then 'The Animal lover's House' (Puzzles n°145, n°146, n°147).
Unlock 'The Sweetheart's House' puzzles
1) Beat the game. 2) From the main menu go to the Extras, load your latest file, select the 'Layton's Challenges', then 'The Sweetheart's House' (Puzzles n°148, n°149, n°150).
Unlock 'The Puzzle Doctor's House'
1) Complete 150 puzzles (so included the Layton's challenges above). 2) When the latest puzzle is completed, go to the Extras, load your latest file, select the 'Layton's Challenges', then 'The Puzzle Doctor's House' (Puzzles n°151, n°152, n°153). 3) Note: this is not Hugh Laurie's challenges!

1) Insert Professor Layton and the Curious Village into your DS. 2) From Professor Layton and the Curious Village Main Menu, go to the Bonuses then select a finished game file (at least 129 puzzles solved). 3) At Professor Layton and the Curious Village Bonuses screen select the "Top Secret" option. 4) At Professor Layton and the Curious Village "Top Secret" screen select "The Hidden Door" option. 5) At "The Hidden Door of St Mystere" screen a secret code is given to you to use with Professor Layton and the Diabolical/Pandora's Box. For example: 1B8E1D6D. Copy this password on a paper. Note: the password is random generated and you must use the same DS to access each title.

Note: Solve this puzzle to reveal a picture of Professor Layton and Luke from their first adventure! 14) Note: to solve this puzzle later go to: Bonuses -> game file -> Top Secret -> The Hidden Door.
